Hopefully they will drop the storylin E she's in love with Dexter.... I hope with the Ukrainian thing, Dex gets to travel to Europe. I'm trying to stay involved with this show, but the writers have to meet me halfway.[quote]I'm trying to stay involved with this show, but the writers have to meet me halfway. Last season was really bad, and I don't hold much hope for this one, with the writers expecting the audience to suspend disbelief and think Dex could possibly get away with that murder in the airport. Finding that blood slide has to be freaking her out. I love the actress, I love Deb, but Deb is fucked up. The show knocked the John Lithgow and Julia Stiles seasons out of the park.
I will concede that the whole killing in the airport was a bit of a stretch. Lord knows after 9/11 if ANYPLACE would have an overabundance of security cameras it would be an airport. I agree that the kill at the airport seemed contrived but his sister just found out he killed a man and may have killed before. The trinity killer season is when this show turned the corner from being the usual campy Showtime show to a serious drama.
Dexter is a dumb show compared to Home land and Breaking Bad. I like that La Querta is going to have a bigger role this season. The Julia Stiles season was the worst and she reminds me of a turtle. So not fair we had to look at Colin Hank's pussy face all season long. Like some others, I really liked the Julia Stiles season. Nobody can act suffering like Jennifer Carpenter/Deb.
I can't stop watching though and I do like the actress who plays Deb. I agree, though, that Dex was probably imagining Deb in the end, though it would be kind of nice if he wasn't. He picks a baggage room at an airport to kill after he wanders through TSA and get's photographed by about a zillion cameras while he's tracking a murder suspect? Dokes told her he thought Dexter was the Bay Harbor Butcher and she covered for him. I'm not sure I will find a season of her flipping out to be something to look forward to.
